I’m at a work event and we’re sitting outside. There’s an empty field in a white lion is sitting there very peacefully but looking in our direction. I wonder if it’s gonna come over at any point and if it will be gentle though I’m not afraid. At some point, I will jack rabbit runs by a cheetah. That is also sitting there very close to the cheetah and I thought oh that’s the end of the rabbit but the cheetah doesn’t move then we’re moving to an event. I think we’ve taken a train but now we’re at one of the resorts that I know my company owns. I’m staying in a hotel room, but my luggage is sort of disorganized. I realize I need to find a nice suit since it seems to be a formal affair. Two of my friends are going to do a special performance wearing white tuxedos. I’m looking for a bathroom now. I’m in a robe. At first I try to go in and it’s a woman’s bathroom. Then I find a series of men’s room rooms. The one I find has a Dutch door with the top open and even though I tell someone that I’m in there, the guy looks over the top anyway I move flushed the toilet and allow them to take over. I realize I could be using the bathroom in my own hotel room I guess and plan to head back there to shower and then realized I’ve lost my phone. I go back to the bathroom with the Dutch door, but the phone there is not mine and there’s two men watching a TV. And then no, I want to meet a friend and colleague to discuss something prior to the event starting, but need to change into my suit. I run into this person and ask them where the event is and then I’ll see them in 15 minutes after I change and hopefully find my phone, which I’m assuming I left in my room. No one seems to know exactly where the event is but no one nervous about it either. It’s in the hotel somewhere.
This intriguing dream seems to incorporate various themes such as peace and anxiety, preparation, confusion, and social interactions. Here's a detailed interpretation of the elements you described:
Work Event: Being at a work event could symbolize your current career focus or responsibilities. It may reflect your thoughts about your professional life and how you manage your role in different situations.
White Lion in an Empty Field: The white lion symbolizes purity, power, and calmness. Its peaceful demeanor suggests a situation in your life that appears powerful or intimidating but may be more benign than it seems. Your lack of fear suggests confidence or a subconscious belief that you can handle this situation.
Cheetah and Jack Rabbit: Cheetah represents speed and focus, while the jack rabbit symbolizes agility and vulnerability. The cheetah not moving despite the potential prey may indicate restraint and self-control in your life or the need to assess situations carefully before taking action.
Moving to a Resort: Transitioning from one place (event) to another (resort) could signify a new phase or change in your professional setting. Resorts imply rest, relaxation, or leisure intertwined with work-related settings, reflecting the balance or blend between professional demands and personal wellbeing.
